BcdEdit command in Windows Server 2008

Introduction
BcdEdit command is used for different purposes like creating new BCD stores, modifying existing stores, adding boot menu parameters etc. BcdEdit is limited to the standard data types and can be able to perform single common changes to BCD. Syntax for using BcdEdit command in operating system is given below.
Syntax
BCDEdit /command [<Argument1>] [<Argument2>] ...

/createstore |
It creates a new empty boot configuration data store. |
/export |
It exports the contents of the system store into a file. |
/import |
use to restores the state of the system store by using a backup data file. |
/store |
This store can be used to specify the store to be used. |
