Introduction

Chgport command requires Windows Server 2008, Windows 7,Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista etc. Chgport command is used to display or to change the COM port mappings for MS-DOS applications compatibility.

Chgport command syntax

change port [<PortA>=<PortB> | /d <PortA> | /query]

In above syntax

Parameter Description
<PortA>=<PortB> Maps COM <PortA> to <PortB>.
/d <PortA> Deletes mapping for <PortA>
/query Displays current port mappings

Example

Lists current port mappings

change port /query
