How to use Undo operation in Word 2010

This article describe about undo operation in word 2010.

Microsoft word give us two important feature called Undo and Redo.

Undo: It is used to undo the previous action.

Redo : It is used to Repeat the previous action.

In this article I am going to describe only Undo operation on the word document. To Know about Redo operation read next article.

How to use Undo operation

Suppose you mistakenly delete any text, and you want to recover the deleted text then use Undo operation.

Example: For apply the undo operation do the following steps.

Step 1

Open your document and some simple text.

Step 2

Now delete the word document from your word document.

Step 3

If you want to recover the deleted word document. Then use the Undo button present in right corner of word document in quick access toolbar.

Note: You can see the your deleted word recovered.

Undo operation using shortcut key

You can also use undo operation by keyboard.

Ctrl + Z : Undo the previous action.
