Tree Command in Windows Server 2008
In this article I am going to explain about tree command in windows server 2008 operating system.
Introduction
The operating system tree command is used to represent the directory structure of a path or of the disk in a drive graphically.
Syntax of Tree command
tree [<Drive>:][<Path>] [/f] [/a]

Parameters in Tree command
It contains following parameter, which is given below:
Parameter |
Description |
<Drive> |
It specifies the drive that contains the disk for which you want to display the directory structure. |
<Path> |
It specifies the directory for which you want to display the directory structure. |
/f |
It display the names of the files in each directory. |
/a |
It specifies that treeis to use text characters instead of graphic characters to show the lines that link subdirectories. |
