Introduction to Interbase

Introduction
Interbase server requires very little disk space for its installation and it uses very little memory when idle. Interbase offers the option to run as an embedded database or regular server. Interbase server do not requires full-time database administration. It's provider is sibprovider. The syntax for using Interbase server is given below.

provider=sibprovider;location=localhost:;data source=c:\databases\gdbs\mygdb.gdb;user id=SYSDBA;Password=masterkey;
