Klist Command In windows Server 2008
In this article I am going to explain about Klist command in windows server 2008 operating system.
Introduction
Klist command displays the list entries in the Kerberos credential cache and a key table. It displays the list of cached Kerberos tickets. Klist command does not change the Kerberos database .After the user has modified the credentials cache or the key table , the only way to verify the changes is to view the contents of the credentials cache and key table using Klist command.
Syntax
klist [-lh <LogonId.HighPart>] [-li <LogonId.LowPart>] tickets | tgt | purge

In above syntax:
Parameter |
Description |
/lh |
Specifies the high part user's logon identifier (LUID) in hexadecimal format. If -li and -lh both are omitted then command defaults to the LUID of currently logged on user. |
/li |
Specifies the low part user's logon identifier (LUID) in hexadecimal format. If -li and -lh both are omitted then command defaults to the LUID of currently logged on user. |
tickets |
Display the currently cached tgt (ticket granting tickets), and service tickets of the specified logon session. It has following attributes: login id, server, client, ticket flags, start time, end time, renew time, session key type and Kerb Ticket encryption type. |
tgt |
Show the initial Kerberos TGT. |
purge |
Allow user to delete all the tickets. Purging tickets will destroy all tickets. |
