Klist Command In windows Server 2008
In this article I am going to explain about Klist command in windows server 2008 operating system.
Klist command displays the list entries in the Kerberos credential cache and a key table. It displays the list of cached Kerberos tickets. Klist command does not change the Kerberos database .After the user has modified the credentials cache or the key table , the only way to verify the changes is to view the contents of the credentials cache and key table using Klist command.
klist [-lh <LogonId.HighPart>] [-li <LogonId.LowPart>] tickets | tgt | purge
In above syntax:
||Specifies the high part user's logon identifier (LUID) in hexadecimal format. If -li and -lh both are omitted then command defaults to the LUID of currently logged on user.
||Specifies the low part user's logon identifier (LUID) in hexadecimal format. If -li and -lh both are omitted then command defaults to the LUID of currently logged on user.
||Display the currently cached tgt (ticket granting tickets), and service tickets of the specified logon session. It has following attributes: login id, server, client, ticket flags, start time, end time, renew time, session key type and Kerb Ticket encryption type.
||Show the initial Kerberos TGT.
||Allow user to delete all the tickets. Purging tickets will destroy all tickets.
