Logoff command in Windows Server 2008 can be used to logoff the user from a session on a remote desktop session host server and deletes a session from the server. Syntax used for Logoff command is given below.

logoff [<SessionName> | <SessionID>] [/server : <ServerName>] [/v]

Parameters For Logoff

<SessionName> |
Defines the name of the session. |
<SessionID> |
Defines the numeric ID which identifies the session to the server. |
/server : <ServerName> |
Defines the RD session host server that contain the session whose user wants to logoff. |
