Introduction

The operating system Sc boot command is used to indicates whether the last boot should be saved as the last-known good boot configuration.

Syntax of Sc boot
command

sc [<ServerName>] boot [{bad | ok}]


Parameters in Sc boot command

It contains following parameter, which is given below:
 
Parameter Description
<ServerName> It specifies the name of the remote server on which the service is located. The name must use as the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) format
bad | ok It specifies whether the last boot was bad or whether it should be saved as the last-known good boot configuration.

Example of Sc boot command

sc boot
sc boot ok
sc boot bad
