Introduction

The operating system Sc getdisplayname command is used to display the name associated with a particular service.

Syntax of Sc getdisplayname command

sc [<ServerName>] getdisplayname [<ServiceName>] [<BufferSize>]


Parameters in Sc getdisplayname command

It contains following parameter, which is given below:
 
Parameter Description
<ServerName> It specifies the name of the remote server on which service is located.
<BufferSize> It specifies the size of buffer (in bytes).
<ServiceName> It specifies the service name.
